The Sponsor (Lifescan Scotland) carries out extensive testing of their products in laboratories at LifeScan. The Sponsor conducts studies to test their products by attending clinics to determine how well their blood glucose monitoring products perform with blood taken from people with diabetes.
The purpose of this study is for the Sponsor to test their glucose monitoring systems by taking up to a maximum of 2 fingerprick blood samples. These samples will be tested on Blood Glucose Monitoring Systems (BGMS) and also on laboratory reference equipment.REC name
