The study will provide an internal evaluation of CLAHRC East Midlands progress around research impact on its local partners and its Patient and Public Involvement activities. The findings from this evaluation will help to improve local implementation practice (for CLAHRC East Midlands) and generalisable findings relating to effectiveness of practice will be shared throughout the CLAHRC network to support national efforts for effective implementation. It will look at thirteen CLAHRC funded projects and study a subset of these in depth to produce generalizable findings that will help to improve national efforts to implement healthcare research more effectively.
