  • Research summary

This study is looking at the relationship between childhood experiences and how people tend to cope with difficult emotions, mental health problems and seizures in adulthood. We aim to investigate how these might be similar or different in people with epilepsy and people with non-epileptic attack disorder (NEAD). Findings from the study could help professionals to understand and treat patients with these conditions better. For the study, adult participants will be recruited from hospital sites, charities and from social media. The study will involve an online self-report questionnaire that will take approximately 60 minutes to complete.
