  • Research summary

    This study is a prospective, observational study at a single centre. The aim of the study is to investigate the effect of assisted reproductive technology (ART)on the maternal cardiovascular system, and to evaluate for changes in biochemical markers associated with cardiovascular disease and pre-eclampsia during this protocol period and through to 12th week of pregnancy.
    Patients eligible to participate will be studied during their routine visits to the unit during their treatment. All treatment and medications will be in line with King's Fertility protocols. Post treatment, patients with a clinical pregnancy may be contacted for their pregnancy outcome.
