Research summary
On analysis of the data held from the previous 2018 healthy volunteer CAVA trial, it has become apparent five of the 17 individuals experience unprovoked episodes of nystagmus
(eye movements) during rest between 1am and 6am - likely during sleep. Nystagmus in the healthy population is rare.
The purpose of this study is to scope further information in the form of full past medical history, family history and social history of all those previous recruited as healthy individuals to see if any broad associations can be made in the subjects experiencing these nocturnal eye movements, and any further conclusions can be made about the potential cause of these eye movements.REC name
