Research summary
This study is designed to evaluate the procedural complications associated with implanting cardiac resynchronisation therapy (CRT) devices in heart failure patients who are elderly or have severe chronic kidney disease. We will also ascertain and compare the symptomatic benefits seen post device implantation in these patients, compared to those who are younger or with normal renal function, as the case may be.
