Research summary
This study aims to assess the outcomes (complications and ICD therapies) in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) patients at low, intermediate, and high risk of sudden cardiac death (SCD), indicating appropriateness of implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) implantation in these patient groups. The study also aims to assess whether late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) additionally increases the risk in these patients. This is going to be a retrospective data study.
