  • Research summary

This global study is being conducted at hospitals, research centres and private medical clinics to test a biologic drug called DNTH103 in Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP). CIDP is a condition where your body’s immune system (the body’s natural defence against diseases) mistakenly attacks and damages the protective covering of nerves (called myelin) throughout the body. This damage disrupts the normal communication between the nerves and muscles, and damages sensory nerves, leading to weakness, numbness, and tingling sensations. CIDP most often results in weakness, numbness, tingling, and pain in the lower limbs (e.g. legs) and in the upper limbs (e.g. hands & wrists).
The main purpose for this study is to test how well the study medication, DNTH103, works as a new treatment for CIDP. There are 5 parts of the study: Screening, Part A, Part B, the Safety Follow-up, and the optional Open Label Extension (OLE). There will be approximately 480 adult participants globally taking part in this study.
