Research summary
This project seeks to update the original model for breast cancer outcome which was based on patients diagnosed from 1999 – 2003.
We now wish to evaluate and redevelop the model using a larger, national data set that also includes women diagnosed more recently.
We aim to use breast cancer registration data for women diagnosed with breast cancer from 2000 to 2015 to develop a refined prognostic model for breast cancer.
The new prognostic model will be implemented as a clinical tool on the PREDICT website https://breast.predict.nhs.uk/
