    New method validation of a Biochemistry mass spectrometry technique using surplus whole blood samples which have been anonymised prior to use.

    Summary of Results

    The primary aim of the study was to assess the utility of fingerprick blood for measurement of 3 different steroids (testosterone, androstenedione and 17-hydroxyprogesterone) which have implications in a range of medical conditions. The study was successful in doing this and a scientific paper was published:
