This qualitative study proposes to utilise Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) in order to address the following research question: “What are Black women’s experiences of fairness and unfairness in secure psychiatric settings?” It will do so by recruiting and interviewing participants currently residing within an NHS secure psychiatric setting.
