The aim of this study is to better characterise the nature, cause, and burden of respiratory tract infections in antibody deficient patients.
• To look at the frequency, duration, and severity of respiratory infections in antibody deficient patients compared to their household contacts.
• What impact do these infections have on quality of life?
• Are there any differences in the causes (viral/bacterial) of respiratory infections in antibody deficient patients compared to their household contacts?
• Is there evidence of prolonged ‘asymptomatic’ infection in antibody deficient patients compared to their household contacts?REC name
