  The aim of this project is to identify biomarkers predictive of clinical outcome following severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). The primary aim of the project is to identify biomarkers predictive of the development of epilepsy after traumatic brain injury (so called "post-traumatic epilepsy"). Ultimately, these biomarkers will contribute to the development of new treatments for preventing epilepsy following traumatic brain injury (called antiepileptogenic therapies).
