• Research summary

  BETTER-UAE is an observational study to collect safety and effectiveness data on the use of Bearing nsPVA particles for uterine artery embolization. Patients with symptomatic uterine fibroid(s) suitable for embolization will be eligible to participate. Patients will be followed in accordance with standard of care, including imaging up to six months post-procedure and will complete a uterine fibroid specific quality of life questionnaire at baseline, 1 and 6 months post-procedure. The study will be conducted at multiple sites experienced in conducting embolization procedures.
