  • Research summary

We would like to link the data of children who have already participated in the Born in Bradford research project and their dental records regarding whether they have received dental care under general anaesthetic. Born in Bradford(07/H1302/112) is a prospective birth cohort (a birth cohort is a group of people who are followed up from birth and have measurements taken at different points in their lives). For children who have participated in Born in Bradford, we will investigate the impact of early life information including maternity (e.g. maternal smoking and birth complications), primary care (e.g. antibiotics, laxatives and nutritional supplements) and school records (e.g. manual dexterity and special needs)on children's oral health status.
