Research summary
Aim: To assess the use of Neutrophil Granularity and Neutrophil Reactiveness Full Blood Count parameters as biomarkers for inflammation or sepsis. This would help identify these conditions early and provide more efficient care for these patients.
The study will involve comparing in-patients with normal and raised Neutrophil Granularity and Neutrophil Reactiveness, and observing whether there is any correlation between a raised result and the presentation of inflammation in in-patients.REC name
