Research summary
Primary objective is to investigate the capabilities, opportunities, and motivation of audiologists in assessing the hearing of care home residents with dementia. This will be conducted using an electronic survey delivered via email to NHS audiologists including closed and open response questions. Survey responses will be statistically analysed with the aim of identifying possible target areas for improving hearing assessment for care home residents with dementia.
