Research summary
The project aims to highlight children’s and carers’ experiences of health services and to identify the issues that are important to them at diagnosis and during treatment.
The research will be used to influence the review of the SIGN guideline on ’Assessment, diagnosis and management of children and young people with ASD’. The issues highlighted by chidren and carers will be used to advise clincial staff of the issues they should be addressing when discussing ASD with them.
