Research summary
Based on our earlier qualitative works (IRAS: 178664,REC ref:16/SS/0101), set within the feasibility phases of the MRC complex intervention framework and the design stage of the Oxford app’s development framework, this study will refine a prototype ‘app’ (application), ask people with asthma, doctors and nurses for feedback on the ‘app’ and explore how possible new technologies might work. We will then write a forward plan for how ‘Connected Asthma’ can be integrated into clinical care, future research, needs and commercial development.
