Research summary
This study aims to assess the impact of measuring volume changes of the soft tissues surrounding the eye in specific eye diseases. We will be focusing on four cohorts of patients in four exploratory sub-studies.
Cohort 1: Monitoring the active phase of Thyroid Eye Disease (TED)
Cohort 2: Investigating volume changes in thyroid eye disease patients who undergo eye surgery to reduce eye protrusion.
Cohort 3: Patients undergoing eye reconstruction surgery with volume replacement (fat transfer) and the aim is to assess the longevity and viability of the fat transfer (volume retention over time).
Cohort 4: Patients on long standing use of topical prostaglandin analogue(s) (PGA) for glaucoma, to assess whether they have any impact on soft tissues surrounding the eye.REC name
