Research summary
This study is part of a Health Technology Assessment on the effectiveness of antimicrobial wound dressings. The HTA covers clinical and cost effectiveness, patient and organisational issues and will contain consensus recommendations for the use of these products.
As part of the patient issues chapter we would like to hold a focus group and interview patients on their experience of antimicrobial wound dressings. Participants who have a chronic wound will be asked to take part in a focus group or a qualitative semi-structured one to one telephone interview and will be asked to talk about their experience of antimicrobial wound dressings as part of their chronic wound treatment.REC name
