The research question being addressed is; An Exploration of the potential benefits of an Inflammatory Bowel Disease(IBD) Telephone helpline in an NHS Health Board within Wales.The objectives of the research would be to have a better understanding, experience and expectation of people utilizing the IBD helpline service and to examine the evidence to increase the understanding of the researcher for enhancing and continuing the telephone helpline service within the NHS Health Board within Wales. The research will help to identify themes and these will be discussed in relation to current literature. Semi structured telephone interviews and thematic analysis will be used to explore the potential benefit of 6-10 participants utilizing the IBD telephone helpline service.
