  The study is an evaluation of an 8 week music and visual arts project; Portraits of Place. The participants will be a visual artist, a composer, a musician, Project Manager, 10 people with young onset dementia and their carers and two members of centre staff. Data for the evaluation will be collected in two ways;
  1) The Chief Investigator will attend each of the sessions to observe the implementation of the project and will make field notes. These notes will enable the capture of rich 'in the moment' information about the project.
  2) Individual interviews will be conducted with the participants after completion of the project.
