  • Research summary

The study entitled 'Patient reported outcome measures for acne' is a mixed methods validation study, which aims to validate patient reported outcome measures for acne. Participants will be aged between 18 and 50 (inclusive) and they will have been invited to take part if they have consulted with either their GP or hospital clinic or have been given a prescription for acne within the last 6 months. Individuals may also contact the study team independently if they are interested in taking part. It is planned to invite between 15 and 20 participants to take part in a qualitative interview and 200 completed questionnaires will be completed and returned. Participants who completed the questionnaires will be asked to repeat this at 6 week follow up.
