  • Research summary

    We are trying to establish the accuracy of BladderLight® system in the detection of bladder Urothelial Carcinoma in patients presenting with haematuria as well recurrence in patients with a previous history, undergoing flexible cystoscopy surveillance.

    During their assessment for flexible cystoscopy patients would be asked to consent for some of the urine they have provided to be used for assessing the accuracy of this system in detection of bladder cancer. The urine collected at each site will be sent to a central Lab either in a Cell Collection Device or with a preservative in a standard container.
