Research summary
Chronic pain patients who have not responded well to other treatments may be offered a Pain Management programme. This is run by a team of psychologists, physiotherapist and nurses as well as non clinical staff, such as yoga teachers. This programme teaches techniques such as mindfulness, breathing exercises and body awareness as well as gaining an understanding of a patients personal goals. This study will look the feasibility of using yoga and a smartphone app to assist patients with their personal goals
