Research summary
Patients with intestinal failure are sometimes required to consume oral nutritional supplements to improve their nutritional status. We currently do not know which of these supplements is the best for patients. Therefore we would like to investigate the effect of different supplements on the amount of fluid and sodium excreted by the bowel.
