To investigate how registered nurses, patients and relatives of patients with existing wounds/pressure ulcers feel with regard to healthcare assistants delivering wound/pressure ulcer care. To investigate if this strategy of delivering wound/PU care has affected workplace dynamics and relationships. Also to explore the patient experience and see how if at all this strategy has impacted on the patient experience, care and ward efficiency.
