Research summary
Restless leg syndrome (RLS) is a common condition. Many patients are deficient in iron. This study will review all the patients referred to the Sheffield sleep clinic with RLS to establish the proportion who are iron deficient and the rates of improvement with iron replacement therapy. Study results will allow the establishment of an RLS investigation and treatment protocol for Sheffield.
