Research summary
This study will assess psychosocial profile and general wellbeing of patients with faecal incontinence using questionnaires. Their perspectives of symptoms and influence of incontinence symptoms on their quality of life will be probed. These data will be compared with information we obtain from the existing faecal incontinence scores, so that we can evaluate if the existing scoring systems reflect what matters to the patients.
