  • Research summary

This is a pilot study to develop a new format of effective treatment for young people with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and to test the efficacy of this intervention. An exsisting Internet-delivered Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (ICBT) intervention, that has been piloted with a sample of Swedish adolescents with OCD, has been translated into English and this study will examine the effectiveness, acceptability and feasibility of this English version of the intervention. Fifteen young people with OCD will complete the ICBT intervention. All patients will be followed up for 6 months after the end of the treatment. The results and study protocol/material will be widely disseminated. The results will provide crucial efficacy data which will form the solid basis for future randomised controlled trials of the effectiveness of ICBT.\n
