Research summary
The BTX-103-001 study is a clinical study to evaluate a new investigational drug called BEAM-103. This study is essential to understand the drug’s safety, how it behaves in the body (pharmacokinetics), and its biological effects (pharmacodynamics).
This is a study involving healthy adult participants. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo, and participants will not know if they are receiving the drug or placebo. The amount of BEAM-103 given to participants will increase at different stages of the study.
Healthy subjects who consent to participate will undergo medical assessments, receive the investigational drug or placebo, and be monitored for any side effects. They will also have regular blood tests to measure how BEAM-103 is processed by their bodies. Participation will last a total of approximately 5 months.
