Research summary
Accelerometers are devices which can measure physical activity through sensing "accelerations" - these allow us to define exertion levels and therefore severity of exercise performed. We hope to use accelerometers as the outcome measure for a future study but wish to determine the device to use (in terms of acceptability to patients and ease of collecting data from the devices) by asking patients with sarcoidosis to wear the devices and compare them.
