    The primary objective of the study is to assess whether the application of Accel-Heal to a variety of complex wounds has an effect on gene expression in wound healing.
    Gene expression is the term used to describe how genes carry out their specific processes. In cases of complex wounds some genes may over-express causing an imbalance in the healing process; we wish to assess what effect Accel-Heal has on this.
