NHS R&D Forum Annual Conference in association with the HRA

Last updated on 24 Feb 2016

The Health Research Authority (HRA) is working with the NHS R&D Forum to develop an integrated programme of HRA updates, presentations and interactive sessions as part of this year’s annual conference.

This is the third year that the annual conference will be delivered in association with the HRA – taking place on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 May 2016 in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

With over 400 delegates attending each year, this national event is one of the largest gatherings of R&D management professionals working in providers and commissioning organisations across the UK.

We will be providing updates on our work and have designed sessions to update and engage delegates on a wide range of topics including:

  • Progress on the HRA UK Policy Framework for the conduct and management of health and social care research
  • Information on the HRA Approval programme – operational updates, early experiences and lessons learnt so far.
  • Update on the HRA and information governance
  • Delegates can expect to share best practice, debate and discuss hot topics as well have the opportunity to take part in extra sessions including poster presentations, breakout sessions and the research fayre.

In addition to content from the HRA confirmed speakers include Professor Trish Greenhalgh, Simon Denegri, Dr Patrick Vallance, Andre Tomlin and Dr Peter Brindle.

Early-bird bookings for this event will close on Friday 26 February. Visit the conference website to find out more about the event and book your place.
