For lots people involved in health and social care research our website is vital source of information, guidance and support.
For those not involved it can be confusing who we are, what we do and why we do it.
It’s really important that anyone visiting our website can understand the HRA and find what they are looking for quickly and easily.
We need your help
Users of our website said in their feedback that the current site isn’t working for you, so in 2023 we are developing a new website.
To do this properly though, we need your help.
What we need your help with
We are looking for volunteers to get involved in the user testing of our new website as we build it.
This would involve looking at the structure of the site, what it looks like and how easy it is to find your way around it. This might involve asking you to find some information or taking a certain journey through the site.
Your feedback will be vital to ensure that we know what is working well, what isn’t working so well and where we can make further improvements.
How will I share feedback?
We have various periods of user testing taking place from January until early May.
You don’t need any experience to get involved and you will be supported at every step.
The majority of sessions will be online, some may be held in-person, so it's completely up to you which sessions you want to take part in.
How long will it take?
You can contribute as much or as little as you would like, it’s completely up to you.
Even if you can only spare half an hour in a virtual session or come along to one of our workshops your contribution will make a big difference.
How to get involved
If you would like to take part in our user testing, or you have a question about getting involved, all you need to do is send an email to communications@hra.nhs.uk with the subject ‘HRA website user testing’ and someone from the team will get in touch with you to share details on the next steps.
