It is a condition of every support that an annual review must be provided to the relevant timescale.
An annual review report should be submitted no later than 11 months following the final approval outcome date and will be assessed by the Confidentiality Advice team in the first instance. Applicants should complete and submit the annual review template and submit to the Confidentiality Advice Team approximately 4 weeks before the ‘next review date’ specified on the Register of Approved Applications.

Data controllers are reminded that support applies to the time period specified in the original application. Support does not expire, unless otherwise specified, at the end of each 12-month period. Once a fully completed annual review is submitted, this satisfies the condition of support. Incomplete annual review forms or where questions have not been responded to fully are not a valid annual review submission. Should any issues arise upon review the applicant will be contacted however unless advised otherwise the support continues.
