National Research Ethics Advisors Panel

Individual with Senior Expertise in the Pharmaceutical Industry Required.
Following a recent review of the panel’s membership, NRES, on behalf of the HRA and devolved administrations, is seeking to widen the expertise of the National Research Ethics Advisors’ Panel
(NREAP) by appointing a highly motivated individual with senior expertise in the pharmaceutical industry able to contribute to the enhancement of the ethical review process in the UK. The successful applicant will not be appointed as a representative of any organisation, nor the pharmaceutical industry but we will bring that perspective to the panel. The National Research Ethics Advisors’ Panel was established in 2009. The main objective of the panel is to help RECs deliver robust, consistent and fair decisions through the facilitation of the use of existing guidance by RECs. The panel also develops its own guidance, where necessary, through consultation with REC members and other stakeholders.
